Hawaii vacations offer a variety of different activities throughout the many islands that make up the Aloha State. There are a number of different beaches that make up some of Hawaii’s top hot spots for vacationers for a variety of different reasons. Not only do these beautiful shores offer great landscapes and swimming areas, but they also offer great areas to experience snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and canoeing.
One of the most popular beaches is on the island of Oahu and is known as Hanauma Bay. This beautiful bay is situated in the crater of one of the many volcanoes on the islands. However, there are some very strict rules surrounding this beach, because it is a conservation area. Some of the other beaches that are very popular include Sunset Beach on the same island and Kaanapali Beach on the island of Maui. Beaches are not the only hot spots of Hawaii vacations though. Some of the other popular tourist spots include Waimea Valley, which was an ancient religious site for Hawaiians, and also Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor was the site of bombing from the Japanese prior to the U.S. involvement in World War II. Many Hawaii vacations are not complete without this historical and momentous stop along the way. However, Hawaii vacations might also not be complete without visiting the Honolulu Zoo or exploring the Manoa Falls and surrounding beautiful rain forests. For people who are more interested in shopping and eating great Hawaiian food, perhaps Aloha Tower is a great place to top off a terrific Hawaii vacation. No matter what a person is looking for during their Hawaii vacations, odds are that the beautiful state will be able to fulfill their desires.
